How will Brexit impact the transfer of young players?

Sky Sports News interviewed Immigration Partner Maria Patsalos about the impact of Brexit on the transfer of players under the age of 18.

Maria said, “The one thing with things like Brexit is that the rules can be torn up and you can start again, so it’s not always doom and gloom, there are some opportunities.

“…However, if we are now no longer able to bring in players at the ages of 16 and 17, the other countries will have a competitive advantage over us.

“Just as we won’t be able to attract European players as we currently can, the same thing will apply to English players going to Europe.”

You can watch the interview here, Maria appears from 12:28.
